Brahma-Life

T here are the most diverse views about the life span and the present age of our universe, its beginning and its end.
The pious sense of the Indians has put the mythological description of the life cycle of this universe (our energy/matter bubble) into words.
According to this, each universe lives a stately 311 trillion years (311,040,000,000,000,000) and is called a Brahma life in Hindu mythology. This Brahma-life corresponds again to 100 Brahma years (or one mega-cycle Brahma), one of which comprises 3,110,400,400,000,000 years, or 360 days and nights of Brahma each year.
One day of Brahma (and one night of Brahma) corresponds to 14 Manu periods, i.e. – including dawn and dusk – 4,320,000,000 years.

One Manu period (i.e. the „reign“ of a Manu=world teacher) lasts 71 so-called maha-yugas, or 306,720,000 years. A maha-yuga therefore lasts 4,320,000 years. Each maha-yuga can be divided into four periods, the last four of which are also known from Greek mythology. Thus the krita-yuga corresponds to the golden age of the Greeks, the treta-yuga to the silver age, the dvapara-yuga to the bronze age and the present (since 3102 B.C.) kali-yuga to the iron age. [Paragraph off: Prof. Helmuth von Glasenapp, „The five world religions“, Bertelsmann, Eugen Diederichs Verlag, 1963, 1991].
According to the findings of many mythological writings – as well as of modern astroscience – there is a big bang at the beginning of every mega-cycle. This divine flash of light causes the energy of All That Is to emerge in energetic and material form and forms the great expression of creation on our level.
The sublimity of the physical world – with all its planets, solar/systems, local groups, galaxies, clusters and superclusters as habitats on the one hand, and its „population“ of microcosmic vision on the other hand, characterizes the „Night of Error“.
And just as we are all part of a greater and more sublime truth, those parts of the microcosm (with molecules/chains, atoms, atomic particles, quarks, superstrings and their constituent elements) form a world of their own, based on the ONE energy that is the essence of God.
This boundless and boundless truth of creation alone on the „material“ plane, is for doubters of God a product of chance. They do not recognize a „plan“ behind the „reality“ that surrounds (and forms) us and thus assign a dumb role to creation as we know it.
The sublimity and eternity of All That Is, however, does not manifest itself exclusively on the „material“ plane. And just as there are universes, like grains of sand in the sea, there are „dimensions“ and spaces of experience for souls, which are non-physical, physical and completely different.
Only the eternal is alive.
